How it works

From an empty calendar to a planned day

The calendar comes with every dashboard. Set it up once, and it pulls in your appointments from everywhere.

  1. 1

    Set it up once

Pick your country, set a default length and lead time, choose a theme. From then on, the calendar works out the holidays by itself.

  2. 2

    Events come in from everywhere

Add them in the event dialog or tell Alex in a sentence. On top of that come events from your email, bookings from your website, time blocks from the Task Agent and imported ICS files.

  3. 3

    The calendar keeps watch

When an event overlaps with another, you get a warning – and the lead time for travel or prep counts too. Nothing gets locked; you make the call.

  4. 4

    Up to speed every morning

When you open the calendar, Alex tells you what’s on today. Turn on an email reminder for any event, and your morning briefing shows your next appointment.

What the calendar does for you

Less typing, fewer double bookings, nothing to add by hand

A calendar that understands sentences, plans for travel time and already knows the holidays.

Events in plain English

Say what you want – Alex drafts it

“Push the dentist back 30 minutes” or “Cancel everything this month”: Alex figures out what you mean and puts a proposal in front of you. Nothing changes until you confirm.

  • Add, move and cancel with one sentence
  • Cancel several events at once – with a full undo
  • If more than one event matches, Alex asks which one

Day, week, month

Switch views without the wait

One click moves between day, week and month. The page doesn’t reload – only the calendar swaps out, whether you switch views, page forward or hit your browser’s back button.

  • Week and day as a time grid with a “now” line
  • Months show exactly as many weeks as they need
  • Overlapping events sit side by side

Holidays

Holidays you’ll never type in again

The calendar works out holidays on its own: US federal holidays, plus every German holiday down to the state level. They don’t block your time – if someone schedules on a holiday, you just get a heads-up.

  • All US federal holidays
  • Germany, including all 16 states
  • Calculated, not downloaded – works for future years too

Bookings from your website

Clients book online, and it’s on your calendar right away

Your website checks which times are taken and books straight into your calendar. If a slot is already gone, the calendar turns the booking down.

  • Protected by your own key and your allowed domain
  • Check busy times before anything gets booked
  • Copy-ready sample request right in your settings

And there’s more

Everything an office calendar needs to do

Repeating events

Daily, weekly or monthly until an end date. Every event in the series stands on its own – move one, and the rest stay put.

Email reminders

Turn them on per event; set the address and how far ahead once. Each reminder goes out exactly once.

ICS import and export

Bring existing events over as an ICS file, with no duplicates if you import it again. Download any single event as an .ics file for another calendar.

Attendees, location and notes

Every event keeps track of who’s coming, where it happens and what you don’t want to forget.

Starts where your day starts

Week and day views jump to 7 AM when they open, and the “now” line shows where you are. One click at the bottom takes you to next week.

Dashboard tile

Today’s and upcoming events at a glance, without opening the calendar.

Six themes with a preview

Default, Ocean, Forest, Violet, Sunset or Minimal. The preview shows you a theme before you apply it, and the weekday header takes on its colors.

The difference

A week without and with the calendar

Same appointments, same clients. Just less back-and-forth and no events getting in each other’s way.

Without the calendar

  • Appointments are scattered across emails, sticky notes and your phone
  • Travel time isn’t planned in, so the next meeting gets tight
  • You add holidays by hand every year
  • Online requests bounce back and forth by email until a time is set
  • Canceling means finding and deleting every event one by one

With the calendar

  • Events from email, your website and the Task Agent land in one place
  • Lead time gets blocked too, so overlaps stand out right away
  • Holidays are already there, matched to your country
  • Clients book themselves, and taken slots get turned down
  • One sentence to Alex cancels several events – with undo

Plan with Alex

Say it the way you’d say it

Alex understands full sentences, works out relative times and asks when something isn’t clear. You always see the proposal first.

For example

  • Dentist tomorrow at 9, 45 minutes
  • Team meeting every Monday at 9 until the end of the year
  • Push the dentist back 30 minutes
  • Cancel my meeting with Miller Construction
  • Cancel everything this month

I won’t add anything you haven’t seen. If something’s unclear, I’d rather ask once.

Questions

What you want to know first

Short, straight answers. If yours is missing, just ask us.

How much does the calendar cost?

Nothing. The calendar is included in every Automagio dashboard, and you turn it on with one click – no extra charge.

Does Alex change events on his own?

No. Every sentence becomes a proposal first: new and moved events open pre-filled in the event dialog, and cancellations need your OK. If you cancel several events at once, one click on “Undo” brings them all back.

What is lead time?

The time you need before an event for travel or prep. It gets blocked too: conflict alerts check from the start time minus lead time through the end, and the Task Agent won’t plan tasks into that window either.

How does booking through my website work?

In the settings, you turn on the booking interface, generate a key and enter your website’s domain. Your site can then check busy times and book appointments. If a slot is already taken, it gets a clear rejection back. A sample request is right there in the settings.

Can I bring over my existing appointments?

Yes, with an ICS file, which almost any calendar app can export. If you import the same file again later, you won’t get duplicates. The other way around, you can download any single event as an .ics file.

Which holidays does the calendar know?

All US federal holidays and all public holidays in Germany, by state. They’re calculated, not pulled from the internet, and they don’t count as busy – an event on a holiday just triggers a heads-up.

How does the calendar work with the other agents?

The Inbox Agent spots dates in emails and adds them with one click. The Email Agent suggests three open time slots in your replies and shows you the week. The Task Agent plans tasks into the gaps between your appointments, blocks time if you want and offers prep before meetings. The morning briefing shows what’s on today.

How do repeating events work?

When you create an event, pick daily, weekly or monthly and an end date. The calendar turns that into individual events, up to 200 at a time. You can move or cancel each one without touching the rest.

Your calendar is already there. Just switch it on.

Sign up, turn on the calendar and tell Alex what’s coming up this week. The holidays are already in.
