The four games

Short, fast, challenging.

Each game trains something different: attention, impulse control, reaction and memory. All of them get a little faster with every hit.

  1. 1

Red Flash – remember the red number

Black numbers change quickly, one of them is red. Afterwards you pick it from four options that look confusingly alike – often the same digits in a different order, and all of them were in the run. The numbers grow from two to five digits.

  2. 2

Color Clash – color, not word

The word "BLUE" is printed in red. You tap the ink color, not the word. Sounds simple, but it holds back your first impulse – and that is exactly what wakes you up.

  3. 3

Tap Grid – hit blue, skip red

Squares light up for a moment. Tap the blue ones before they go dark, leave the red ones with a cross alone. The faster you are, the more points you get.

  4. 4

    Sequence – remember the order

Squares light up one after another, then you tap them back in the same order. After every three solved sequences it gets one step longer, three mistakes end the game.

Made for the workday

A quick kickstart, not a time sink

The WakeUp Helper is meant to wake you up – not to keep you from work. That is why it has clear limits and honest feedback.

Timer

Set the timer first, then play

Before the first game you choose 5, 10 or 15 minutes. When time is up you can extend once – after that there is a break until the hour is over. A run in progress is finished first.

  • The server checks timer and lock, not just the browser
  • At most one extension per hour
  • "Done for now" ends the timer at any time

Feedback

Alex tells you how sharp you are today

After every game Alex compares your result with the last one on the same level – more points, faster reactions or a new personal best.

  • Personal best per game and difficulty
  • Your last five results at a glance
  • Reaction time in milliseconds for Color Clash and Tap Grid

Settings

Easy, medium or hard – your call

Every game has three difficulty levels. Higher levels are faster and give 1.5× or 2× the points. In Red Flash you also choose the length of the first run and the number of runs.

  • Settings are remembered per game
  • Every hit makes it a little faster
  • Streaks add up to a 50% bonus

Also

Small, but well thought out

Game picker on the dashboard

The widget shows the four games as tiles plus the state of your timer. One tap and you are in the settings.

Phone and laptop

Large areas to tap, plus the keys 1 to 4 on a laptop.

Mornings and breaks

Alex greets you according to the time of day – in the morning to wake up, at noon for a short break.

Counted fairly

Wrong answers give no points and end your streak. In Red Flash it only speeds up after a hit.

No endless play

No automatic restart, no leaderboards, no competition within the team. One round, then back to work.

Your results are yours

Settings, results and personal bests belong to your user account. Your team does not see them.

Before / after

The break that actually wakes you up

A short break helps – as long as it stays short.

Without WakeUp Helper

  • A quick look at your phone – and five minutes turn into twenty
  • Scrolling instead of switching off
  • Starting the first task of the day half asleep
  • No idea how sharp you are today
  • Games designed to keep you hooked

With WakeUp Helper

  • A timer with 5, 10 or 15 minutes
  • Focused exercises for reaction and attention
  • Back at work wide awake after a few minutes
  • Alex compares with your last result
  • At most one extension, then that is it

Questions

What you want to know first

Short, straight answers. If yours is missing, just ask us.

How much does the WakeUp Helper cost?

Nothing. It is included in every Automagio account and does not use a language model.

Why do I have to set a timer?

The games are meant to wake you up and help you switch off briefly – not to keep you from work. So you set 5, 10 or 15 minutes before you play. Within an hour you can extend once, after that there is a break until the hour is over.

What happens when time runs out in the middle of a game?

The current run is finished first, then you see your result. A new game only starts after an extension.

What data is stored?

Your last settings per game, your results (points, hits, reaction time) and the times of your timer. Everything belongs to your user account; your team does not see it.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. All four games are built for touch screens. On a laptop you can also use the keys 1 to 4 for the answer buttons.

How are points calculated?

Every hit gives base points multiplied by the difficulty (1, 1.5 or 2). On top come a bonus for fast answers and up to 50% for streaks. Wrong answers give no points.

A quick kickstart for your mind

Activate it, set a timer, pick a game. It costs nothing and is set up in a second.
